Although we wont be having a bar, you can bring your own alcohol and there will be a café to sell a range of home-made items such as stovies, soup, bread,cakes and we will also be selling children's beverages, teas and coffees, put on by the staff at Café Amor. Plus there will also be the obligatory raffle. We also hope to have a baby room to get away from the music if need be.

The ceilidh is part of Angus council's Tartan Week Events which are on from 3oth March - 8th April, celebrating everything Scottish.
All proceeds to the event goes to Blessings Outreach Project(SCO 39195), who are a local Christian based charity which encourages connection in the community and to 'GOTH'.(Get out the house). We put on evening activities in a café that we rent and organise Band Nights, Open Mic nights on Thursday evenings and show Inspirational movies on Wednesday evenings. We try to create a safe and positive environment in the café and we hope to progress to putting on outdoor summer events to promote goodwill and spiritual awareness.
The Full Alba Ceilidh Band Band Line-Up is:-
(Asterixed members are those playing at the above gig.
*Jake Donnelly (banjo, mandolin, vocals) – Experienced Dance Caller, ex-member of An Teallach Ceilidh Band.
*Yvonne MacLeod (accordion) – Many years of experience playing with Scottish country dance and ceilidh bands.
Martin MacLeod (fiddle) – Top class musician, ex-member of Capercaillie.
Ewan Sutherland (guitar, vocals) – Many years experience in ceilidh bands, founding member of Puddachs Well with Dougie Maclean, recorded with Sheena Wellington.
Martin Dibbs (drums) – Top session drummer.
*Kevin Milne (drums) – Well known in the Scottish dance scene, also provides full disco package.
*Alisdair MacLeod (bass, guitar, vocals) – Very talented young musician.
John “Jammy” Scone (guitar) – One of the best guitarists around.
*Gordon Ewing (fiddle).
The band has played at numerous prestigious venues including:
Blair Athole Castle, St Andrews Castle, Athole Palace, Birkhill Castle, Glamis Castle, Drumkilboe, Cameron House Hotel, Lodge on the Loch, Fyvie Castle, Fernie Castle, Dundas Castle, Menzies Castle, Dalmunzie Castle, Lands of Loyal Hotel, Norton House Hotel, Crieff Hydro, St Andrews University, Dundee University, and Edinburgh University.
The band members have also taken playing engagements in many countries including:
Bahamas, Mexico, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Portugal, Greece, Norway, Australia, USA, Holland, Germany, Luxemburg, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Belgium, Denmark and France.
